TVS Motor Company is going to make a new bang in its popular Ntorq series. The company will launch the all-new TVS Ntorq 150 on September 1 and its test ride is also going to happen the next day.

Ntorq, which has been in the market for 7 years, has made a strong mark in the 125cc sporty scooter segment. TVS has always kept it in the news by bringing new variants and special editions from time to time. But now the company is preparing to take this brand to the next level.

New 150cc engine, 15 PS power!

According to reports, the TVS Ntorq 150 can be given an all-new 150cc liquid-cooled engine. This engine will generate around 15 PS of power, which will give it a direct competition to powerful scooters like Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160.

  • Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160 already offer liquid-cooled engines.
  • Aprilia SXR 160 still runs on an air-cooled engine.

If TVS opts for an air-cooled engine, the performance may be slightly reduced, but the liquid-cooled setup is expected to be more powerful.

Design and Features

According to the information revealed from the teaser about the design and features of the new TVS Ntorq 150, it will get evolved LED headlamp cluster with signature T graphics, TFT instrument cluster with smart connectivity, sharp and sporty bodywork, split seats, black alloy wheels, as well as LED taillamps and indicators. Apart from this, features like multiple ride modes and advanced technology can also be seen in it, which will make it even more premium in its segment.

Launch and competition

TVS Ntorq 150 will compete directly with Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160 and Aprilia SXR 160.
The company can launch it in the market with competitive pricing, which is sure to create a big bang in the scooter segment.

Why is the new TVS Ntorq 150 special?

The Ntorq 150 is not going to be special only on the basis of engine and power, but its design and features will also make it stand strong in the premium scooter category. The TFT instrument cluster will make riding smart with smartphone connectivity, while multiple ride modes and advanced technology will make it unique in the scooter segment. Apart from this, sharp bodywork, sporty graphics and black alloy wheels can make it even more popular among the youth.

Yamaha Aerox and Hero Xoom are already present in the market, but the biggest advantage of TVS Ntorq 150 will be its aggressive pricing and the already built popularity of the brand. If the company launches it at the right price, then this scooter can become the first choice of youth not only in cities but also for highway riding.
