Citroen has recently released a teaser of its new SUV-coupe Citroen Basalt X. It has a glimpse of both the exterior and interior, which reveals its new look and features. The special thing is that the company has started its pre-booking across India for just Rs 11,000. Let’s know what is special in this new model.
What was shown in the teaser?
The teaser image shows the all-black exterior theme of the SUV-coupe, which is very similar to the Basalt Dark Edition launched in April 2025. Along with this, dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels have also been given in it, which give it a sporty look.
There are no major changes in the exterior, but the interior definitely gives a premium feel. It will get a black and tan themed cabin, which is completely different from the all-white interior of the regular Basalt. Apart from this, a new rear center armrest with cup holders has also been provided.
A translucent strip is also seen on the dashboard, which indicates that the company can also provide ambient lighting in it.
Features and Safety
The Citroen Basalt X will get the same features as the regular model. It will get:
- 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- 7-inch digital driver display
- Adjustable under-thigh support for rear seat passengers

- Wireless phone charger
However, no sunroof is provided in it.

For safety, Basalt X will get:
